I'm very pleased to announce the publication of one of my manga stories, the third tale in an upcoming release from Yaoi Press, Yaoi Volume One: an Anthology of Boys Love. (If you are unfamiliar with yaoi manga, Wikipedia has a thorough explanation here.) The lovely cover art above illustrates a scene from a story about prisoners of a medieval circus.
As for my contribution, I loved writing these characters! There's Liam, tall and blonde with chiseled good looks, a grieving ex-cop who's hiding from his past in the remote mountain regions of Idaho; and then Aden, slender and beautiful and emotionally fragile, a 19-year old who's spent the last five years as a captive of two sadistic criminals. The story begins when Aden manages an escape, running for his life through the woods until he slips down a hill and lands, naked and vulnerable, in Liam's backyard.
